In Exact Globe Next you will find the role bar on the left hand side. With the role bar you are able to add the menu options you use most frequently. This allows you to move quickly through the software. You can turn the role bar on or off, by using the button ‘Role bar’ at the top of your screen.
Within Exact Globe Next, you can determine which functions users can approach. You can do this by assigning roles/rights to a certain user. In case there are multiple users, it is good to know which user can access a specific menu.
The functions a user can use in Exact Globe, depend on his or her rights. These rights are attached to roles. You can grant rights to a user by attaching a role to this user. In this way you can easily grant access to the functions the user needs.
As you could read in the blog posts ‘Security roles: How do they work?’ and ‘Standard and new roles’ the functions a user can utilize, depend on his or her rights. Via [System, HR & Security, Security roles, Users roles and rights] you can retrieve a MS Excel overview that shows the rights of multiple users.
The functions that people can use are dependent on his or her rights. These rights are attached to roles. You give a user rights by assigning a role.
In the blog post ‘Tip: An overview of the assigned roles’, you already read how it is possible to view per role which employees are linked to it. However, it is also possible to view to which roles that specific employee has been linked via the employee card.
