In the previous blog post in this series, you can read how you can set up a project and define the required data. After all that is done there can be worked on the project officially. The hours that are worked on a project and the costs that are made must be registered. In this blogpost is further explained how to register time and costs and how these two can be approved.

You may, for instance, want a project to always be linked if you are using a certain general ledger account while entering an entry in Exact Globe Next. To make this a required field, you can check the field ‘Project’ under the section ‘Analytical Required’ in the maintenance of the general ledger account.
In the selection screen for creating entries [Finance, Entries, (relevant) Journal], information is shown for each journal: the number of entries in that journal, the date of the last entry and the total amount entered into that journal. If there are a lot of entries, showing this information could take a while.
