Enhancements to goods delivery for manufacturing

DELIVERY000

Recently we released functionality to finish and deliver multiple shop orders of multiple customers at the same time. These deliveries originate of course from linked sales orders. Sales orders may contain items linked to shop orders and items that are on stock. A recent improvement to the multiple deliveries functionality makes it possible to combine the delivery of shop order receipts and items from inventory.

How do I finish and deliver multiple shop orders to different customers at the same time?

In March of 2016 we released functionality to finish and deliver multiple shop orders of multiple customers at the same time: How do I finish and deliver multiple shop orders to different customers at the same time? You may have noticed that the Goods delivery screen, tab Shop order, does only list the sales order lines that are linked to shop orders. Sales order lines that are not linked to shop orders (i.e. items from stock) were not shown. Based on customer feedback we are now releasing an enhancement that makes it possible to concurrently deliver the stocked items.

Sales orders with shop order items and items from stock

The following sales order contains two items to be manufactured, and two items to be delivered from stock:

DELIVER001

From the shop order finish screen we choose the disposition Stage for delivery for the two items to be manufactured:

DELIVER002

The Goods delivery screen (tab shop order) will now show the sales order lines that are linked to shop orders (staged for delivery) and the lines to be delivered from stock:

DELIVER003

This enhancement is based on customer feedback and has been released to all editions of Exact for Manufacturing. More information with Pieter Hamans, pieter.hamans@exact.com
