The CRM team is happy to inform you about the following innovations for CRM in Exact Online which are now general available:
Word-merge for quotation
When creating a quotation it is often required to add more text to the final document. This can be product information, a project description or terms & conditions for example. Besides the default additional text, users may want to adjust the text in the final quotation document.
With the current quotation layout functionality a quotation could only be generated as a PDF-document, but now it is also possible to generate quotations into MS Word documents. The quotation is then also based on a MS Word document template. After generating a quotation the document can then still be adjusted.
Businesses prefer uniform communication to their accounts and it saves time when users don’t have to type similar email messages every time they need to send one. That is why we made it possible in Exact Online to send a standard e-mail directly from the account or contact card based on templates.
Creating or editing templates
Users can define their own templates for the above-mentioned quotations and e-mails. These templates can be created from scratch or by editing an existing template. Menu: <Company name – Masterdata – Layouts – Maintenance >. Within this menu an instruction video explains more in detail how it works.
