Book your expense with the Exact Expenses App

Written by Martin Ortgiess on . Posted in Exact Synergy

Easy does it! That was what we had in mind when making the Expenses App.

With the expenses App you can book file a new expense report by by making a picture of your receipt. It is as easy as that, it’s all it is.

Of course you also get an overview of your previous entered expenses, directly showing you whether it is approved or even better paid back to you.

With the Expenses App, the administrator is free to define the information you have to fill in at booking your Expenses. He needs to define which request type he wants to use at HRM/Settings/Expense claim and the App will pick it up from here.

The header of the expense entry is fixed, showing default information the user needs to fill in. Directly below this section, the account and project fields are shown (when available in the corresponding request type). All other fields that are set mandatory will be shown below.

For now, the Expenses App is only available on iPhone and iPad. We we are working hard on the Android version which should be available this summer.

This Expenses App works in combination with latest version of Synergy product update 252.

Hi Rob, via attachment we are only able to stick to photo’s.
You are able to link a document with all kind of attachments.
We run some research on how to save files (like email attachments) to Synergy.
You can expect something like this somewhere in time

Is it possible to enter multiple expense claims in one request? Or is it one picture, one claim per request.?

Hi Joris, you can enter multiple attachments per expense. Is this what you mean?
In both Synergy and the App there are some adjustments planned where you can enter an expense with multiple lines, where each line has a picture.
More information about this later on.

Hi Martin: It’s nice to have and think of Google map integration in expense claim. Using Google map enforces corporate travel policy by providing simple & accurate accounting of the user’s mileage driven…for audit compliance

    Thanks
