The Exact Online team is working hard to further improve the intuitiveness of our accounting product. We are improving the getting started process, introducing step-by-step tours and enhancing the most important “accounting flows”, starting with the purchase and sales flows. We will also introduce a new financial dashboard which enables starting the main accounting functions directly. These functionalities will be first pre-released via a new way of releasing enhancements called “Early Access”.
With “Early Access” you can try out our newest innovations at your own pace. During the “Early Access” phase you have the opportunity to go back to the old look and feel. If you have feedback on the new innovation, you can give it in a relaxed and easy way. We will invite you to give a rating by using smiley faces and the possibility to give us additional comments or ideas. In this way we can validate innovations easier by a larger group than via a controlled release. After a certain period we will make the new innovations generally available for all users.
Easier getting started
We are introducing a new wizard for setting up a company for all countries. By answering simple questions during the wizard we can setup the company with the template that fits your needs. Once you log in into Exact Online we will guide you with step-by-step tours. The first step-by-step tours will be available at the end of this quarter.
The new financial dashboard will be a central starting point for accounting in Exact Online. From here you have direct insight in how much you have, how much you will receive and how much money you owe. But it will also serve as an entrance into the main accounting functions. We have almost finished the development and want to introduce this new dashboard at the end of this quarter through “Early Access”.
Improve sales and purchase processes
We are focusing on making the accounting flow even more intuitive. The first step is an improvement of the purchase and sales entry. This will allow you to view your document and enter your data at the same time. You will be able to work more efficiently and faster! These new innovations are planned to be available in “Early Access” at the end of this quarter.
If you have any feedback on this upcoming innovations just place a comment on this blog or send an e-mail directly to Judith van Wissen (firstname.lastname@example.org).
