While working with projects, you can create various projects. For example, you could create an internal project that will mostly be used for cost registration. No revenue is generated for internal projects and they are often used for internal purposes. Internal projects cannot be invoiced, either.
However, you might still want to invoice this project. In this case, the type of project will need to be changed to ‘Time & material’. You can do this as follows:
- Open the project via the menu [Projects, Projects, Maintain projects]
- You can link an account by using the icon ‘Add: Account’ (see image)
- You can then choose to generate a sales order for the project.
You can now change the project to ‘Time & material’ and can invoice this project.
