Together towards a solution

Exact does its utmost best to supply its clients with the best possible software and the best possible customer experience. In the quality process for our software, Exact the Netherlands organises a last phase through the Product Readiness team in collaboration with customers. We call this last phase the Controlled Release phase.

The Controlled Release phase generally lasts at least four weeks and could take up three to six months for an individual solution. During the Controlled Release phase, there are one or more moments of evaluation in which necessary aspects are measured that go hand in hand with the quality of our software.

Checking together
In the Controlled Release phase, we go through the software together with our clients to check whether all processes have remained unchanged and run at least the same as in a previous software version. Of course, we strive towards improving our software and in order to subject implemented improvements to a similar practice test, we invite additional customers to every Controlled Release phase that want to make use of the added improvements and new functionality.

During a Controlled Release phase, the participating customers judge the quality of the software and the accompanying product documentation such as Release Notes and Online help. Furthermore, they will judge whether the new functionality and added improvements do in practice what they should be doing and feedback will be collected that relates to both the existing and the newly introduced solutions. The obtained feedback will eventually be used to improve and expand our software, which will eventually benefit the automation of an enterprise.
