Next steps in No Hands Accounting

Written by Judith van Wissen on . Posted in Exact Online

In one of my previous blogs we introduced a new way to support your business better, faster and smarter. This new way is called robotic accounting, one of the pillars of our No Hands Accounting strategy. Robotic accounting in Exact Online helps you to save a significant amount of time and be consistent while doing your bookkeeping.

A few months ago we launched the first step of robotic accounting; an adjusted ‘bank statements to be completed’ screen with automatic suggestions for G/L accounts. After enthusiastic feedback from our customers we decided to expand this and also introduce suggestions for VAT codes, accounts, cost units and cost centers.

What’s next?

With the suggestions for bank statement lines, we won’t stop as we continue to work on more developments in robotic accounting.

At this moment we are busy with suggestions without opening the detail screen (edit screen), this will save you some clicks what will make the bookkeeping even faster. A next step will be to automatically create the entry for you during the import for the lines with exactly one suggestion.

We are also looking into suggestions for purchase invoices. First we will start with suggestions for invoices that are received via Scan & Recognize with one line. In the future we will also show suggestions for invoices with multiple lines. So be prepared for time saving while entering your purchase invoices!
