    Hi Martin

The demo site does not appear to be working? I receive an error relating to server plug in could not be found?

Wil the new App (2.0) be available for Synergy Enterprise versions prior to update 249 ?

The app is available for all product updates. If you work with a Product Update before 249, you will get a message ones that a newer server version is available. We understand that this is giving some confusions and am working on it to make this simpler

Hi Jamie, We don’t have plans for that. What exactly did you had in mind? recieving or sending email via iPad can be saved to Synergy, like you can also do in Outlook?

    Hi Martin

The situation is this, I have a client using ESE and they have many sales reps, they want to provide ipads and make use of the app. Currently when they send or receive emails they have to go to their notebooks to upload emails to Synergy. If it was possible to link emails sent and received on the ipad to Synergy this would remove the need in uploading them at a later date.

Also now that there are ipad apps for creating Word documents what would be the possibilities of uploading these to Synergy via the app?

Would this be an option: When sending an email from your iPad, bcc to yourself. In Outlook define that all email messages where you are in bcc and come from yourself are directly updated to Synergy. So, next time you open Outlook, the emails will be automatically saved to Synergy. A disadvantage in this case, is that the mail is not automatically linked to the correct account.

Not the ideal solution to be honest as it would mean editing the uploaded email and assigning to the right account/contact.

Are you able to share any additional developments of the ipad app in terms of roadmap?

A little late maybe, but I would like to comment on this subject.

At first, I really do like the app and the way it is designed. It’s really clear.

I also have a couple of suggestions, because we really would like to work with this app, but it has a several shortcomings that will be missed to our sales reps.

    – We would like to edit relations and contacts. And it would be great if we can do this, while making a request.
    – Item information. So the reps can show products to their customers
    – Limit the requests. Not every request (and we have a lot of requests) is mobile-friendly and that’s no problem if you should be able to hide those requests.
    – Request fieldselections. In request we limit e.g. the itemfields. A sales rep of division X will only use items of division X. This isn’t working in the app right now, while it’s in our requests.
    – Offline modus (with full functionality). It’s a shame, but there isn’t network coverage at all places, like shops or so.
When you think of it, it’s really essential! Your client (or worse suspect/prospect) doesn’t like excuses!

I understand the roadmap is not available for publishing, but can you tell something about those things?
