Exact Integration is generally available

Written by Michiel Dorjee on . Posted in Exact Globe, Exact Synergy

As of this week Exact Integration is generally available which marks the end of the controlled release. Exact Integration is a solution which automatically synchronizes data between Exact Globe and Exact Synergy Enterprise in an integrated scenario.

Thanks to Exact Integration, all the data you save in Exact Globe is also real-time available in Exact Synergy Enterprise and vice versa. With this solution you save time and reduce data inaccuracy, since you only have to enter data once to have it automatically reflected in both Exact Synergy Enterprise and Exact Globe. For example, you can create a customer entry in Exact Synergy Enterprise and afterwards link this customer account to a sales order that you create in Exact Globe. The synchronization happens almost real-time, so within a few seconds the data is in sync.

What does Exact Integration have to offer?

  • It connects one Exact Globe company with one Exact Synergy Enterprise environment; like the integrated scenario Exact Globe – Exact Synergy.
  • It supports numerous entities.
  • It synchronizes changes almost real-time, just a few seconds to sync, depending on the environment you have.
  • It focuses on a replacement for the integrated scenario.

Should you have any questions about this solution, do not hesitate to contact me at ruud.aalders@exact.com.

Good to read that this is now generally available. The benefits of the Integrated Scenario, but now with seperate databases.

@synergy user: I do not think there will be additional costs associated with this solution.

@ruud: what are the minimum versions of Globe and Synergy Enterprise this should work with ? In the Exact portal I read about Synergy Enterprise 245 and Globe batch 400. Are these also the minimum versions for Exact Integration to work ?

@Synergy User: The solution is free to use. When you update your version (245 or higher) you will get the installation msi to install integrated solution in your CAB folder.

@Martijn: Indeed, the minimal supported version is 245/400.

That’s great news, however can you please advise as to Exact’s plans are regards the Consolidated scenario i.e. 1 ESE to n EG databases…..

There are currently no working replication / synchronisation solutions for this scenario, despite promises to the contrary 2+ years ago??

    Hi Wayne,

The first results will be visible in release 248 as the Exact Integration framework will support Central Master Data Management. But if you are getting at supporting all the entities we support now, it will be more in the lines of 249.
