A complete package of 30 out-of-the-box reports

Written by Michiel Dorjee on . Posted in Exact Synergy

Since the product update 243 and 244 we have been working on integration of SQL Server Reporting Services directly in the Synergy administration. In the product update 245 we went a step further and created 30* ready to use business reports which transform enterprise data into clear information that is crucial for timely and accurate decision making. These out-of-the box reports offer a real time access and clear insight of both Synergy as well as Globe data.

* Currently we provide 26 reports; the complete package will be available mid-March.

Click here to view the list of reports related to CRM, Financial, HRM, Logistics and Project areas that provide an instant value for your organization.

Please let me know if you think that the list should be extended with some other reports/dashboards. Replies are highly appreciated and will be taken into consideration for the coming update(s). Detailed suggestions can be sent via email.

Thanks in advance!

A logical question I guess; are the reports backwards compatible? :-)

We just had an update to 2.44 and SSRS reports, are SSRS reports, right?

    We are very interested!

Hi Arno, all the reports are backwards compatible, except for the Total absence and Partial absence report because they make use of SQL functions which have been created in PU 245 especially for the new reintegration (partial absence) functionality.

Hi Sunil, thx for your answer.

How can we receive them? It would give us a great kickstart for ssrs use!

If that would be possible… Obviously is not that easy, we are still dealing with after implementation problems of 2.44.

Can we use/receive the reports anyway?

Hi Arno, as alternative you can download the 245 release and use the reports from the RPT folder to upload them manually in a 244 environment.
