Exact's solution for Central MDM will facilitate MDM for multiple divisions and multiple legislations in Exact Globe. This solution will therefore specifically be beneficial for companies like yours that are using Exact Globe. Exact Synergy Enterprise will only serve as a platform for MDM including related workflow and document management for related master data.

Regards,

Very good to hear that central MDM is addressed by Exact. Question: Our Exact Globe installation runs without Synergy
What options do we have than regarding MDM across different administrations?

Niels

Richard,

What if this account has different VAT codes (NL/PL/FI Globe databases), price lists, representative in the different Globe administrations?

How do you think to manage this information?

Regards,

Dave

Dave,

Synergy Enterprise will be leading. The goal will be to maintain as much as possible in Synergy Enterprise. If we take Accounts as example, I can't think of a field that I need to maintain in Exact Globe.

Richard,

Of course I don't know how your ideas will looks like, but I can imagine that a few fields will be managed in Globe and some other fields in Synergy.

What are your ideas to make it clear for the users, which fields are manage from which system? One system should be leading.

For example when you create an item in Synergy and it has to be created in 3 Globe divisions, where will the field 'item description' be managed.

I hope this is more clear for you.

Kind regards,

Dave

Dave,

Thanks for yor interest in this topic.

I can imagine you want to see the list of fields you are able to manage for a specific division. I will show the first version soon.

But the second question is not clear. What do you mean with 'fields managed out of Synergy and Globe'?

Regards,

I am looking forward to see an overview of the fields which you want to manage out of Synergy and which fields you want to manage in the specific Globe division.

I am even wondering how you will make it clear for users which of these fields are managed out of Synergy and Globe.
