    Hi Martin

can I make a suggestion that if you are looking at promoting functionality around the use of mobile devices then consider the possibilities of using a media that is supported. I regularly read this blog through my iPhone but I cannot watch the video!

    Martin,
Looks great. Will it be available for Business Users as well? Or just full suite? And is it part of standard functionality for alle users (at no extra charge?).
    Kind regards,
    Bert

You can only use Mobile Synergy, if you have the role 950 ‘Mobile’. This role is by default available in every Synergy environment that’s updated to 243. This role can be assigned to full suite users and business users.

Looks very good and functional. What is the price? Is it as fast as in the iphone demo? ;-)

Mobile Synergy is very fast. building the app, we had 3 focus areas: Fast, Easy, Sexy. in this order. So, it should be fast.
The Mobile Synergy version we deliver in 243 can be used without additional charges.

Mobile Synergy is indeed not installed on an app. It’s a mobile website especially designed to work on mobile. It is installed on your server

Honestly I expected an agenda functionality but I was surprised that it isn’t in. For years we are using the Synergy agenda as a leading agenda because of the connections with accounts and attachments. Because our mobile users want to have their agenda on the mobile phones, we also use the Outlook agenda. Mobile Synergy could solve this issue…

The agenda of Synergy is now synchronized to Outlook , but synchronizing on the opposite way is not working well so we disabled it. These synchronizing tools are not user friendly because removed appointments in Synergy will not be removed in Outlook, created appointments in Outlook can’t be edit in Syngery etc.

So finally we still have to use two tools to fulfill our needs!

    Hi Dave,

We choose not to put the agenda functionality in Mobile Synergy. rational is that all modern mobile phones offer a great agenda functionality which is easy to user. An account manager shall use that rather than an agenda in Mobile Synergy.

Having said that, we do offer an overview showing all activities for upcoming 7 days grouped per day.

Besides this, we are currently running a project to improve the synchronization between Synergy Enterprise and Exchange 2010. Goal of this project is to fully support Exchange 2010 and the way it looks now will also solve (some) of the issues you mention above.
