Perhaps it's a good thing to share some experiences with this tool from the last years since we have been using this in controlled release fazes and at customer sites that indicated performance issues.

1. With the data provided we were able to add additional indexes in the standard database set to improve performance. roled out to all customers!
2. The tool can optimize certain MS SQL and database parameters.
3. Uttilization of the hardware could be improved, one example showed us a customer using only 2GB of memory in their server instead of 4GB.

Just 3 examples to what it can lead to.

In other examples it was made clear the hardware was no longer a fit to the database size and software usage, so it can also lead up to an earlier than expected or hoped hardware upgrade.

In either way, this tool was built to give an advice free of costs and it is up to the end user what to do with the advice.

Looks like a great tool (service included ! ) and an excellent way to improve customer satisfaction. I don't think I'll be using it a lot since I'm mostly involved with development and not consultancy anymore. But it looks to like a tool that should be standard included in any project plan from now on.

Maybe you could attach an example of such a report that people can expect?

p.s. I presume that the advice does not include anything on (SDK created) Custom tables and such? In particular; I don't think the report will suggest to clean up any table that is not recognized as "used by Exact". Right? ;)
