Exact Globe add-on: Clustered requests

Exact Globe add-on: Clustered requests

Posted on 08. Oct, 2009 by guest blogger in Exact Globe

This is the third article in a series on add-ons for Exact Globe. Add-ons are additional solutions that run on top of Exact Globe, in a fully integrated way. These add-ons are globally available for Exact customers, so not limited to 1 country or region.

The first one was Quality management, this second article about Incoming Invoice Register and this article is about Clustered Requests.

Clustered requests make it possible to create one single workflow for multiple identical requests. This solution enables you to group these separate requests for approval, realization and processing. In order to facilitate procurement the solution enables a purchase limit check on multiple stages within the workflow. Next to grouping request also requests can be copied automatically during the workflow process.

    Hi

This looks like very good functionality but dosn’t Exact see this as a solution to overcome a deficiency within the software? and make it a chargeable add-on?

Come on Exact enhance the product for the benefit of the customers but don’t make us pay for it.

    Dear Exact user,

Sometimes functional decisions have to be made based on the fact that not all customers have equal requirements and that it is very important that a standard product should remain clear and functional.

This add-on was specifically designed to assist in certain business processes which do not apply to every customer, therefore at this moment we see it as a great addition to customers who really require this functionality.

Please be aware that this does not mean that it will always remain an add-on.

    Hello Marcia

Many thanks for your reply. I understand that not evey customer has the same requirements but this particular functionality looks to me as something 80% of customers would like. I hope that in the future this would become standard functionality…something to look forward to

    :-)

    Regards
