Hi Barry, as stated in the text: "we support Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008, so why would a bundle of these two products under the name of Small Business Server 2008 not be supported?" Microsoft Small Business Server exists of multiple products in one bundle, and as soon as all seperate products are supported we can also support the bundle. As simple as that.

This means that SBS 2008 is supported for Exact Globe as of product update 393. In that product update the support for SQL Server 2008 was introduced. As Exact Synergy (the classic version) does not offer support for Windows Server 2008, that automatically implies that SBS 2008 is also not supported.

I received a lot of questions and remarks about this article. I'm planning to write an additional article on this subject to really make clear that we definitely support SBS for our products, but also want to encourage our customers to seek good advice and expertise. That is because we can't help them with implementing SBS, we can only help them with the implementation of Exact products.

Ok, good considerations, but I am missing one thing, Is it supported and is it supported for Exact Synergy (classic).

If it is supported, what's the minimal release?
